DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION METHODS IN ORAL DISEASES:
Cytological and Histological Examination

Learning objectives of the course; evaluation of general and differential diagnostic features of oral mucosal diseases; presenting non-invasive auxiliary methods (vital staining technique and brush biopsy) that are recommended to be used in the diagnosis, especially oral mucosal lesions with malignancy risk; teaching interventional biopsy methods and tips in clinical practice in the form of theoretical and practical applications.

There are two parts to this course program. The criteria for identifying disease lesions will be explained in the first part, and in the second part, how the staining and biopsy procedure will be performed will be explained.

14.15-14.45    Lesions of benign character in the oral mucosa

Application of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in Dental Implant Planning and Practical Course

The training will provide detailed information about Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and explain the applications and advantages of this advanced imaging technique. It will explain how dentists can use this technology, especially in dental implant planning, the points to be considered, examples of three-dimensional dentomaxillofacial images and cases obtained and how they can use these images in clinical practice. Participants can work on cases practically with one of the available software.
