BaSS Congress Award
- BaSS Congress Awards are granted at the BaSS Congresses to promote scientific activities and dental research.
- The Awards are given by the Award Committee for the best three oral presentations. The candidate papers will be presented at a special session in front of the Awards Committee. The awardees will be announced at the closing ceremony.
- Only oral presentations will be considered for the competition.
- The paper must be the result of original research (basic, experimental, or clinical), presented for the first time, and not have received previous awards. If the paper is the result of team work, the approval of all team members is required.
- Candidate must hold a degree in dentistry, be a member of the BaSS, the first and presenting author of the paper, and be under the age of 35 (inclusive). The presenter should not be a senior academic (professor or associate professor). Senior academics are not prohibited from participating in the work, as long as they are not first authors.
- The awarded papers must be published in the Balkan Journal of Dental Medicine. Awardees will not be charged a publication fee.
- Authors must submit the following documentation no later than March 1st, 2025 to: congress@bass-serbia.org
– full text prepared according to the guidelines of the Balkan Journal of Dental Medicine (https://balkandentaljournal.com/author-guidelines/);
. name, current position, place of work;
– short CV of the candidate;
– copy of ID;
– signed agreement to publish the manuscript in the Balkan Journal of Dental Medicine should they be awarded.
Best Poster Award
- The Best Poster Award is given to three high-quality posters presented at the BaSS congress.
- The candidate must be a member of BaSS and the first and presenting author of the poster.
- Winners will have the opportunity to publish their work in the Balkan Journal of Dental Medicine free of charge.
