Lecture Title
Mimicing the natural esthetics with composite restorations; Colour or shape? Which is more crucial?
Abstract
Today’s conservative and esthtetic restorations provide excellent results to create and mimic natural dentition.Due to advances in adhesive procedures, composite resins have become the principal restorative materials in modern dentistry. Resins restorations have a high capacity for reproducing anatomic shape, color, dentin and enamel opacity levels, opalescence effects, and characterizations as well as good mechanical resistance.
However color match and creating the morphology is still the most challenging and complicated step for clinicians. This lecture will present the essential aspects for understandin and reproducing the colorant the morphology of natural teeth with clinical tips to mimic the nature with managing shape, texture with the correct shade blendings.
