Emotional Dentistry: Enhancing Patient Experience Through Digital Smile Design and Minimally Invasive Veneers

Abstract: The integration of digital technology in dental practice offers unparalleled precision and patient engagement. This conference will explore a case study beginning with an initial digital scan and a comprehensive smile photograph. Utilizing advanced rendering and mock-up techniques, we demonstrate a before-and-after simulation, evoking emotional responses from patients. We then proceed with the minimally invasive veneer preparation, employing digital guides for accuracy. The final design, crafted in Exocad, is milled, characterized, and cemented using the latest adhesive techniques. The process culminates in a bespoke audiovisual presentation, showcasing the transformative impact of the treatment. This innovative approach not only enhances clinical outcomes but also fosters patient loyalty through personalized experiences.

DR. ROBERTO WUOTTO D

Dr. Roberto Wuotto is a partner at Grupo Dental Wuotto clinics in Querétaro and co-founder of ED Digital Lab. His practice is exclusively dedicated to prosthetics and aesthetic dentistry. He is a member of the Mexican Dental Association and the Querétaro Dental Association. Dr. Wuotto serves as the Director of the International Program in Prosthetics and Aesthetic Dentistry in Querétaro and is also the Director of the Emotional Dentistry Project.

He is a national and international speaker, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Wuotto graduated from the Advanced International Education Program in Oral Rehabilitation and Esthetic Dentistry at New York University (NYU) and authored of the article "Emotional Dentistry Applied in a Cosmetic Dental Treatment with Dental Veneers" for NYU.

He holds a Master’s degree in Aesthetic Dentistry and received training and certification in Emotional Dentistry, Interdisciplinary and Digital Dentistry in Los Angeles, California, under Dr. Christian Coachman at Gide Dental Institute. He also completed the Master Esthetic and Oral Rehabilitation Program accredited by the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Roberto Wuotto is the co-founder, alongside Dr. Nenad Milosevic, and instructor of the Master Dental Program in Kruševac, Serbia. He has received extensive dental training through numerous national and international courses.
