Advances in Understanding and Managing Root Resorptions
    Ruth Pérez Alfayate

Root resorptions, a multifactorial condition involving the loss of dental hard tissue, remain a significant clinical challenge in dentistry. This condition can be classified as internal, external, or combined, with etiology linked to trauma, orthodontic treatment, infection, or systemic factors. Advances in diagnostic tools and management strategies are reshaping our ability to identify, monitor, and treat these lesions effectively. This presentation explores the latest developments in the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and management of root resorptions, emphasizing early intervention and minimally invasive approaches.
