Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor and a great pleasure to invite you to the 30^th anniversary Congress of the Balkan Stomatological Society (BaSS), which will take place on May 7–9, 2026, at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki.

Under the inspiring motto “One Region—One Vision: Advancing Dentistry Together,” our Congress aspires to unite colleagues from across the Balkans and beyond, foster collaboration, share scientific knowledge, and shape the future of Dentistry in our region.

Dentistry today is experiencing rapid evolution through innovative technologies, advanced materials, and new treatment approaches. Yet, at its core, it remains a science centered on humans, closely linked with overall health and quality of life. The BaSS Congress provides a unique opportunity to reflect on our achievements, exchange experiences, and envision together the next steps in our professional journey.

The aims of this meeting are multiple: educational for our young colleagues, scientific for researchers and clinicians, and social for all, strengthening bonds of friendship and cultural connection across our region.

We are committed to delivering a high-level Scientific Congress that will expand our horizons and reinforce the unity and cooperation that always defined the Balkan Stomatological Society.

Dear colleagues,

It is great news for the members of Balkan Stomatological Society that we reached our 30th anniversary, so let’s celebrate on 7-10 May, in the Thessaloniki meeting.

It is a great honour to address this distinguished gathering under the auspices of the Balkan Stomatological Society. The Balkans, a region where history, culture, and diversity intertwine, has always been a bridge connecting nations, ideas, and people. Dentistry, as both a science and a healing art, offers us yet another bridge one built not of politics or borders, but of knowledge, compassion, and collaboration.

In recent years, the exchange of expertise and research among Balkan universities has enriched our understanding of digital dentistry, biomaterials, and preventive care. These collaborations remind us that innovation grows not in isolation, but through shared experience and collective wisdom. The challenges we face ranging from education disparities to public oral health are not unique to one nation; they are shared responsibilities that call for shared solutions.

Dear colleagues, dentistry unites us through the universal language of care. Let us honour that unity by building a future where the Balkan dental community continues to inspire, innovate, and support one another. Together, we can ensure that our shared legacy will be one of science, friendship, and humanity.
