Immediate Implant-Supported Dentures: A Comprehensive Approach to Edentulism.
Immediate removable complete dentures provide patients with improved esthetics and reasonable function following dental extractions. Dental implants with various attachment systems enhance the retention of the overdenture prostheses. Recent advances in digital technologies have enabled the fabrication of digitally designed and manufactured overdenture prostheses that incorporate elements of an analog fabrication workflow. Diligent integration of the advantages of both workflows facilitates a predictable transition to complete edentulism for patients with terminal dentition.
