Konstantinos Kougias was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1973.
He studied Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute in the city of Leeds, UK graduating in 1998 with the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
In 2007, he completed successfully a three year Post Graduate Masters Degree in the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in the field of Oral Surgery and Radiology. Continuing in the same Department, he acquired his PhD in 2026 and is involved in teaching duties both in undergraduate and post graduate curricula on the field of Oral Surgery as well as CPD programs for general dental practitioners.
He has published extensively in Greek national and International Dental Scientific magazines and lectures in Greek national and International Congresses.
In the aspect of personal continuous professional development he attends Congresses and Master Classes, with a special interest in the field of Oral Surgery.
He is a an elected member of the Electoral Body of the Hellenic Dental Association since 2011, actively promoting Dentistry in the Public Health Sector.
