English is the official language of the BaSS2025.

REGISTRATION
The Registration desk will be located in the Sava Centre. The working hours of the registration:
Thursday, April 24, 2025 – 10:00-14:30
Thursday, April 24, 2025 – 17:00-20:00
Friday, April 25, 2025 – 09:00-18:30
Saturday, April 26, 2025 – 09:00-18:30

All registered participants will collect their congress materials, including a badge, at the registration desk.

BADGE
An identification badge will be included in the Congress material provided upon registration. All participants are requested to wear their personal congress badges during the entire congress, including in all sessions, at the opening ceremony, in the exhibition area, and during lunch and coffee breaks. Please note that a charge of 30€ will be made onsite in case of losing your name badge.

DELIVERY OF PRESENTATIONS
All Speakers have to deliver during the break their presentations to the technician in the room where they will have their lecture according to the scientific programme. If requested, after the presentation, it will be deleted under the supervision of the speaker. Presenter can also use their own laptop for presentation.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
A certificate of attendance will be provided to all registered delegates after the Congress by e-mail.

PROCEEDINGS
Proceedings will be available to download at https://e-bass.org/29thcongress/.  There will be no printed version.

EXHIBITION
The Exhibition will be located in the Ground Floor of the Venue. The exhibitors and sponsors want to interact with you to answer questions about what they have to offer, discuss interesting future congresses, and much more.

COFFEE BREAKS
Catering stations with refreshments will be provided in the foyer at exhibition and poster area and will be served according to the official BaSS 2025 programme. Special Dietary Station will be available as well.

NO SMOKING POLICY
In line with laws on smoking, no smoking is allowed in any enclosed public area of the Congress.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING DISCLAIMER
Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent to being recorded and for your images and recordings to be used in any BaSS material and publications.

 WiFi
The free WiFi is provided in all working areas of the Congress.

Visa Requirements
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact local Serbian Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required. Please check here if you need visa and if you need a passport or you may enter Serbia with an ID. All citizens of European countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey can enter Serbia without a visa. The same goes for United States, Canada and Australia.

Official Letter of Invitation
Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or BaSS 2025 to provide any financial assistance.

Airport transfer
For all information, please contact the city service TAXIINFO, located in the baggage claim area at Nikola Tesla Airport. At the airport Info Desk you will get the taxi receipt specifying the desired destination and the price for taxi service. That way you will make sure the taxi service is in line with the most favourable rate. Payment options: Serbian Dinars, Credit Cards and Euros.

City transportation / Taxi
There is a good public transport system in Belgrade. From January 1st 2025, public transport is free for all users. Most buses operate until midnight. Bus lines 17, 18, 70, 74, 88, 95, as well as tram lines 7 and 9 connect the Sava Centre with the City.

Taxis are usually available outside the Hotel.

Telephone Code
To call a foreign country from Belgrade, please dial the international code 00, then the country area code, the city area code (without 0) and, finally, the telephone number of the subscriber.

Time Zone
The time zone in Serbia is Central European Time (CET) (UTC plus 1 hour).

Currency
The Serbian currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD). Credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, and ATMs are widely available in downtown Belgrade. You can use Visa, Visa Electron, Plus, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro and Cirrus branded cards to withdraw money from an ATM. Belgrade ATMs require 4-digit pin codes.

Electricity
As in most cities of continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220 V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

Insurance and Liability
BaSS 2025 Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept responsibility for personal injury or for loss or damage involving persons and property either during or indirectly arising from the Congress. Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
