BACKWARD PLANNING PROTOCOL

This lecture will be based on the Backward planning protocol - a completely digital protocol in prosthetics and implantology. The author will show the everyday clinical application of a Trios intraoral scanner, the application of a digital protocol in a variety of clinical situations and how it makes our everyday practice and the patients experience much simpler and more predictable.

Dr.Mato Paljetak was born in Zagreb in 1983. After finishing the High School for Dental technitians in 2001., he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 2009. After finishing his internship year, in 2010 he started working at Futura Dent Estetica, a polyclinic specialized in aesthetic dentistry. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked exclusively on fully functional and aesthetic metal-free ceramics. In 2014. he began working with a intraoral scanner in everyday practice and became one of the pioneers of a fully digital protocol in prosthetic dentistry. He is an international lecturer in the field of aesthetic dental medicine and digital dentistry and his main fields of practice are digital prostohodontics and implantology. He is the president of the Croatian Society for Smile Aesthetics, a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine, the World Society for Interdisciplinary and Anti-aging Medicine, Croatian Society for Facial Aesthetics, the Society for Facial Aesthetics of Southeast Europe and the Croatian Society for Business Ethics and Health Economics.
